自転車のマークで有名なチリワインのコノスルがリリースしているちょっぴり高めのワインです。
This is a slightly pricier wine released by Cono Sur, the Chilean winery famous for its bicycle logo.
といっても、スーパーで売っているコノスルワイン３本分の値段です。
That said, it’s still the price of three bottles of Cono Sur wine sold at the supermarket.
コノスルは１本800円ぐらいのもありますが、１本18,000円ぐらいのSilencioとかいうボトルもあって、味は当然値段に応じて分かりやすいくらい変わります。
Cono Sur can be found for around 800 yen per bottle, but there’s also a bottle called Silencio that costs around 18,000 yen per bottle, and naturally, the taste varies noticeably depending on the price.
今回、このSINGLE VINEYARDは初めて飲むので楽しみです。
This is my first time drinking this Single Vineyard, so I’m looking forward to it.
2016年ヴィンテージのテクニカルシートでは、手摘みと書いてあります。これは機械収穫とは相当味に違いが出てくるはずです。早く飲みましょう！
The technical sheet for the 2016 vintage says it was hand-picked, which should result in a significantly different taste from machine-harvested grapes. Drink it quickly!
香りが安物とは全然違いますね。Silencioには及びませんが、これだけで満足感が得られます。
The aroma is completely different from cheap wines. It’s not as good as Silencio, but it’s satisfying enough on its own.
色は申し分ないでしょう。早く飲んでくれと言っているようです。
The color is impeccable. It’s as if it’s asking me to drink it quickly.
味もちょっぴり値段の高いカベルネ・ソーヴィニョンの雰囲気があります。これはお勧めです。近所で売ってれば確実にリピートものです。
The taste also has the feel of a slightly more expensive Cabernet Sauvignon. I recommend this. If it were sold in my neighborhood, I’d definitely buy it again and again.
今日の料理は、マカロニグラタンです。サツマイモ、コーン、アサリ、シメジ、鶏肉でちょっとゴージャスにつくりました。ワインも料理も美味しいです。
Today’s dish is macaroni gratin. I made a gorgeous dish using sweet potatoes, corn, clams, shimeji mushrooms, and chicken. Both the wine and the food were delicious.
