This is a Chilean red wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
チリワインの魅力は何といってもヨーロッパ品種系のブドウ栽培に適した気候と、台木を使わない自根のブドウ樹で収穫されたブドウでしょうと勝手に思ってます。
I personally believe that the appeal of Chilean wine lies in the climate, which is ideal for growing European grape varieties, and the grapes harvested from own-rooted vines without rootstocks.
こういう環境のいいところでスクスク育ったブドウを収穫してワインにする。醸造家にとっては最高でしょうね。

このワインも3000円台の後半の値段だったので、チリワインとしては少し高めです。手摘みで収穫して、温度管理したステンレスタンクで1日2回ルモンタージュをして、22日間浸漬させてから、抽出してフリーランジュースだけを使うらしいです。その後樽で10カ月熟成。だとすると、この値段は結構安い良心的と思います。早速飲みましょう！
This wine was priced in the upper 3000 yen range, so it’s a little on the pricey side for Chilean wine. The grapes are hand-picked, remontaged twice a day in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and macerated for 22 days before being extracted and only the free-run juice is used. It’s then aged in barrels for 10 months. Considering that, I think the price is quite reasonable and reasonable. Let’s drink it now!
