LES MURAILLES ROUGE 2022
10年以上のロングセラー・ボルドーワイン。ほどよい酸味とタンニンのあるバランスのよい味わい。柔らかな口当たりが特徴でらしいです。
A long-selling Bordeaux wine for over 10 years. A well-balanced taste with moderate acidity and tannins. It is said to be characterized by a soft mouthfeel.
今日、ようやく剪定作業が終わりました。約4,400本のブドウ樹でした。昨年12月18日に剪定作業を開始し、終了したのが2月5日です。醸造作業をこなしながら約1ヵ月半でした。実質2人でやっていたのですが、このぐらいの規模だったら1人でも3ヵ月位あれば十分対応できると確信しました。
Today, the pruning work was finally finished. There were about 4,400 grape vines. Pruning work began on December 18th last year and was completed on February 5th. It took about a month and a half while also doing winemaking work. There were actually two of us, but I’m sure that at this scale, one person could handle it in about three months.
剪定作業中、こんな光景に何度か出くわしました。
While pruning, I came across this scene several times.
蛙やトカゲがブドウの枝に刺さっているんです。百舌鳥の早贄というやつですね。食う気がないなら狩るんじゃねーよ！って言いたいですが、このモズの習性については謎だそうです。
Frogs and lizards were stuck on the grape branches. This is what they call a shrike’s early sacrifice. I want to say, “Don’t hunt them if you don’t want to eat them!”, but the habits of this shrike are a mystery.
とりあえずワインを飲んで1週間の締めくくりをしましょう！

コルクにはDIAM2が使われています。早飲みを想定しているんでしょう。飲み頃です。
DIAM2 corks are used. They are probably intended for early drinking. It’s ready to drink.
安いワインなのであまり香りが高くありません。果実味も乏しい感じの辛口ワインですが、まあ、こんなものでしょう。悪くはないです。
Since it’s a cheap wine, it doesn’t have a very strong aroma. It’s a dry wine with little fruitiness, but I guess that’s about right. It’s not bad.
料理はマカロニグラタンです。これで業務スーパーのチーズもほぼ無くなりました。
The dish is macaroni gratin. I’ve almost used up all the cheese from the ‘Gyoumu Super’.
来週は自然派ワインを飲んで、「自然」について少し語ろうと思います。
