不安定な気温が続いていましたが、ようやく春らしい気温になりました。
The unstable temperature has continued, but it’s finally become spring-like.
宇都宮市の中心を流れる田川沿いも春の花が咲きまくっています。これは菜の花ですかね。
Spring flowers are blooming all along the Tagawa River that flows through the center of Utsunomiya City. I think these are rape blossoms.
枝垂桜も満開と言っていいでしょう。
The weeping cherry blossoms are also in full bloom.
宇都宮の八幡山公園のMy標本木のソメイヨシノも満開になりました。
My specimen Somei-Yoshino cherry tree in Hachimanyama Park in Utsunomiya is also in full bloom.
明日は、ワイン検定なので、ブドウの品種を覚えないといけないのですが、花見で現実逃避です。
Tomorrow, I’m taking the wine certification exam, so I need to learn about grape varieties, but I’m escaping reality by going cherry blossom viewing.
ワイン検定当日になってしまいました。試験は群馬県の館林市で受けます。
It’s already the day of the wine certification exam. I’m taking the exam in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
つつじが丘第二公園という場所に隣接した研修所が試験会場なのですが、折角なので、ここでも花見をします。この公園の横には城沼という川のような沼があって、沼の周辺には桜の木が植えられていてとてもキレイです。
The exam venue is a training center adjacent to Tsutsujigaoka 2nd Park, and since I’m here, I’ll go cherry blossom viewing here too. Next to this park is a river-like swamp called Shiro-numa, and cherry trees are planted around the swamp, which is very beautiful.
試験が始まるまで、この沼沿いを歩いて現実逃避です。
I’m escaping reality by walking along this swamp until the exam starts.
試験時間は40分なのですが、試験の前に1時間半ほどレクチャーがあって、これをしっかり聞いておけば試験も何とかなりそうな雰囲気です。
The test is 40 minutes long, but there is an hour and a half lecture before the test, and if I listen carefully, I feel like I can pass the test.
久しぶりの試験は脳味噌にとてもいい刺激となりました。
It was a great brain stimulation to take the test after such a long time.
さあ、ワインを飲んで脳味噌の刺激を解放してあげましょう！

このワインは、樹齢20年～30年のサンジョヴェーゼ75％、ヴェルメンティーノ ロッソ、カナイオーロ、メルローなどから造られているそうです。60日間も醸した後、2年間木樽熟成するそうです。ブドウは海の影響を強く受けているそうで、海水由来のミネラル感があるそうです。そういわれると、酸味のような塩味がある感じがします。ワイン自体はとても美味しいです。トスカーナのサンジョヴェーゼとは一味違った感じのイタリアワインを満喫させていただきました。
This wine is made from 75% Sangiovese grapes that are 20 to 30 years old, Vermentino Rosso, Canaiolo, Merlot, etc. After 60 days of fermentation, it is aged in wooden barrels for two years. The grapes are strongly influenced by the sea, and it has a mineral taste derived from seawater. When you say that, it feels like it has a sour and salty taste. The wine itself is very delicious. I enjoyed this Italian wine, which has a slightly different feel from Sangiovese from Tuscany.
試験結果は3週間後、しばらく勉強を続けます。
The test results will be available in three weeks, so I will continue studying for a while.
