This is a red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes by the Arpepe winery in Lombardy, Italy.
アールペペはこれで3回目ですが、これも2収穫年が14年前ですから、もう飲み頃だと思います。早速飲みましょう！
This is my third time trying a wine from Arpepe, and since this particular vintage is from 14 years ago, I believe it is ready to drink. Let’s give it a taste!
アールペペのフルーティーな香りが漂ってきます。
It has that characteristic fruity aroma of Arpepe wines.
ワインの色はアールペペのネッビオーロっていう感じです。安定した美味しさがあります。
The color is exactly what you’d expect from an Arpepe Nebbiolo, and the flavor is consistently delicious.
今日のメインディッシュは、豚肉とナスのマーボーソース炒め。アスパラガスとヒラタケも入っています。
Today’s main dish is a stir-fry of pork and eggplant in a Mapo-style sauce, featuring asparagus and oyster mushrooms as well.
今週は太平洋側から台風が迫ってきて、日本側に抜けていくという非常に珍しい気象条件を体験しました。ここでも、強風が吹き荒れて、宇都宮駅前の巨木が倒れるという被害がありました。
This week, we experienced a very unusual weather pattern where a typhoon approached from the Pacific side and cut across Japan. We had strong winds here, too, causing a massive tree in front of Utsunomiya Station to topple over.
またしばらく暑くなるようなので、次回はスパークリングワインにします。
It looks like it’s going to get hot again for a while, so I’ll choose a sparkling wine for next time.
