イタリア・フリウリ・ヴェネツィア・ジューリア州のピノ・グリージョを使ったオレンジ・ワインです。
This is an orange wine made from Pinot Grigio grapes from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy.
先週は4日間しかマセレーションしていないあっさり系オレンジでしたが、これはマセレーションに半年かけて造ってます。ちょっと期待してます。
Last week, I had a lighter-style orange wine that only underwent four days of maceration, but this one was crafted with a six-month maceration period—I have high hopes for it!
それにしても、早いもので11月になりました。今年も残すところあと2カ月です。
It’s hard to believe, but November is already here; there are only two months left in the year.
近所のイチョウ並木はまだ緑色が、黄色くなっていません。
The ginkgo trees in my neighborhood are still green—they haven’t turned yellow yet.
銀杏は大量に落下していて異常な匂いを発しています。
However, a massive number of ginkgo nuts have fallen, giving off that unmistakable, pungent odor.
季節感がすっかり変わってしまいましたが、ワインは変わらずに飲み続けましょう。
Even though the seasons have shifted, let’s keep enjoying my wine just the same.
2020年のヴィンテージですから、6年前に収穫したんですね。とても華やかないい香りがします。It’s a 2020 vintage, meaning the grapes were harvested six years ago. It has a wonderfully vibrant, fragrant aroma.
ピノ・グリージョはピノ・ノワールの突然変異種で、果皮が薄い紫色で、白ワインによく使われます。Pinot Grigio is actually a mutation of Pinot Noir; it has thin, purplish-colored skins and is commonly used to produce white wine.
これはでも、オレンジというより、濃いアンバー系の色ですね。
This particular bottle, though, leans more toward a deep amber hue than a typical “orange” color.
よく澱引きされていて、透明感はかなり高いです。美味い！ これはリピート決定です。
It has been well-racked, so it possesses a high degree of clarity. Delicious! I’ll definitely be buying this again.
